Abigail Rec

Abby joined Umeå University in February 2026 as a postdoc. She did her PhD at the University of Vermont with Prof. Breck Bowden, working on carbnon and nutrient cycling in stream networks of Northern Alaska. Within the project ARIMETH she will work on the sources and fates of methane (and Carbon) in permafrost systems.
